RIP Bob 'Pricey' Price

South Weald Cricket Club was very sad to hear of the passing of Bob ‘Pricey’ Price on 26th March 💙🏏

A true character and a larger-than-life personality, Pricey was a fierce competitor with the ball - a persistent and effective bowler who could change a game in a spell.

Mainly playing for the club throughout the 80s he became a genuine SWCC legend over many years, and was known for some tour antics. Never far from his trademark Brylcreem hair and metal comb in his back pocket.

Pictured here doing what he did best, turning out in 2006 on Presidents Day for a special guest appearance with the ‘SWCC Young Ones’ as they took on the SWCC Vets.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. Rest in peace, Pricey.
